There's no obvious relevant settings in Safari's preferences.I went online and found that you can remove ~/Library/Safari but when I 'su' into that folder and do an 'ls', it says 'operation not permitted'.The "Clear History." button at the top of the History window was grayed out.When I highlight each URL and select Delete from the right-click menu, the URL didn't go away.After doing so I needed to test her internet filtering suite (Qustodio) so I entered a few restricted search terms in her Safari.Ĭonfident that the filtering still worked, I then tried to delete those search terms from her browser history. I upgraded my daughter's macbook to Catalina.
